This tool creates an electronic signature — an image of your signature embedded into the PDF. It is not a cryptographic digital signature (which requires a certificate authority). For most everyday documents, contracts, and forms, an electronic signature is legally valid in many jurisdictions including the EU (eIDAS) and US (ESIGN Act).
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your signature drawing and the PDF are never sent to any server. Once you close the page, everything is gone.
Currently, the tool places your signature on one selected page per session. After downloading, you can re-upload the signed PDF and add another signature on a different page. Multi-page signing in one step is on our roadmap.
